We had an unexpected break in weather.

Sunny and pretty warm.

Got out on the bikes for a bit.

Passed an SUV on my left.

A whiskery mongrel with his whiskers in the wind.

He looked at me.

I looked at him.

I swear we both smiled.

Dogs would ride v-twins if they only had thumbs.

Is there a future for me? In a place where I can drift?

Weightless.

I remembered her last night.

I do not think about her very often, which is odd since there is a living breathing reminder of her before me almost every day.

She was younger. In a time where she was still pretty.

And she was. Very pretty.

At times I miss her.

Sadly, I am not the only one who does.
